Finland established its diplomatic presence in Pakistan in 2022. While it now has an Embassy in Islamabad, visa services are not directly handled there. 1. Book an appointment online at VFS Global Pakistan.
  2. Fill out the Schengen visa application form (select Finland as the destination).
  3. Gather all required documents.
  4. Pay the visa fee at VFS during submission.
  5. Provide biometrics (fingerprints and photo).
  6. Wait for processing (generally 15 days, but can take longer).
  7. Collect your passport or opt for courier return.

8. Important Notes

  • All visa packages should go through VFS Global, not immediately at Finland’s Embassy.

  • Embassy and consulates only provide limited consular assistance — not visa services.
