In Islamabad, Romania has a completely operating embassy that takes care of all visas and consulate related cases for applicants of Pakistan. As some other countries use outsourced visa centers, but Romania does not use outsourced visa centers such as VFS or Gerry. To get the Romanian visa, you must have to apply straight to the Embassy of Romania in Islamabad.

Usually between 9 am – 4 pm but applicants are advised to approach before, via phone or email to confirm timings and book a pre-scheduled appointment.

Note:
All kinds of visa requests, whether they are short-term or long-term, as well as other services, and notary assistance, must be submitted directly to the Embassy of Romania in Islamabad.

2. Visa Fees (As per Romanian Ministry of Foreign Affairs)

  • Airport Transit Visa (Type A): €90
  • Short-Stay Visa (Type C – up to 90 days): €90 for adults
  • Children aged 6–12 (Type A or C): €45
  • Children under 6 years: Free of charge

For long-term visas, also known as type D visas, the fees are determined separately and also changes depending on the purpose (study, function, family reunion, etc.). 4. Steps to Apply for a Romanian Visa from Pakistan

    • Book an appointment for submission.
  3. Prepare your documents, including:
