Russian visas and consular services in Pakistan are provided directly under the Russian Embassy in Islamabad. Visa applications can only be done through the embassy or its specified centers. Russia does not have a separate consulate in Pakistan either Lahore or Karachi, so all cases are controlled through an embassy in Islamabad.
All appointments should be booked online and no agent or non-support will be accepted.

2. Visa Fees – Short-Term Visa (Type C)
- Single-entry visa: Around $60
- Double-entry visa: Around $90
- Multiple-entry visa: Around $120

3. How to Apply for a Russian Visa
- Download the official visa application form from the Embassy of Russia website or approved portal.
- Fill the form correctly and attach all the required documents.
- Contact the embassy through email or phone and book your appointment.
- Go to the Russian embassy in Islamabad on your appointment date, and submit your documents and biometrics.
- The embassy will review your application. In some cases, you may be called for an additional interview.

- Recent passport size pictures
- Valid travel insurance covering the entire migration in Russia
- Evidence of accomodation (hotel booking or official invitation)
- Evidence of financial stability (e.g: recent bank details)

5. Key Guidelines
- Russia has only one embassy in Pakistan (Islamabad). There are no consulates in Lahore or Karachi.
- To avoid fraud or misinformation, always use official channels to book appointments and download visa form.
- The embassy does not legalize simple Pakistani documents directly. This process is done through the Ministry of External Affairs (MOFA), Pakistan.
- Visa processing generally takes 10 to 15 working days in time, so applicants should pre-plan before apply.
