Slovenia Embassy in Pakistan Location, Timings & Days, Contact Number

Slovenia does not operate a resident embassy or consulate in Pakistan. Instead, its diplomat and consular matters for Pakistani citizens are officially controlled by the Embassy of the Republic of Slovenia in Tehran, Iran. In addition, Slovenia holds an honorary consulate in Karachi for limited local support.

Slovenia visa applications are proccessed in Pakistan by the Germany embassy in Islamabad. So, the Pakistanis who want to apply for a Slovenian visa will send their applications through the German Embassy in Islamabad or the German consulate in Karachi, often with the help of VFS Global Visa application centers.

Note: This is the accredited embassy for Pakistan. However, short-stay visa submissions are processed through Germany’s missions in Pakistan (see below).

2. VFS/Germany Visa Application Centres – Pakistan

Since Germany represents Slovenia in Pakistan for visa matters, applicants must submit their applications to the German mission through VFS Global.

Islamabad – German Embassy

4. Visa Fees – Schengen (Slovenia)

  • Adults (Type C, Short-stay): €90
  • Children aged 6–12 years: €45
  • Children under 6 years: Free
  • Service Fee: Additional VFS Global charges apply (check latest amount on VFS site).

5. How to Apply for a Slovenia Visa (From Pakistan)

  1. Visit the official German Embassy/Consulate website or the VFS Global Slovenia (via Germany) portal.
  2. Fill in the Schengen visa application form and book an appointment online.
  3. Attend the appointment at your chosen VFS Centre or German mission (Islamabad or Karachi).
  4. Submit your application, documents, and biometrics; pay the visa fee and service charges.
  5. Wait for processing — the German Embassy/Consulate forwards applications to Slovenia for decision.
  6. You may be called for an interview or asked for additional documents if necessary.

6. Required Documents

  • Completed Schengen application form + appointment slip (from VFS portal)
  • Valid passport (with at least 3 months’ validity beyond travel dates, and 2 blank pages)
  • Two recent passport-size photographs
  • Travel medical insurance (minimum €30,000 coverage across Schengen area)
  • Proof of residence in Pakistan
  • Confirmed travel itinerary (flight bookings, accommodation)
  • Proof of financial means (bank statements, salary slips, or sponsor letter)
  • Visa fee (€90 for adults, reduced for children) + VFS service charges

7. Important Tips

  • There is no official Slovenian Embassy in Islamabad — Slovenia’s Embassy in Tehran answer the queries of Pakistanis.
  • For short-stay Schengen visa, always apply via Germany Embassy or Consulate in Pakistan or through VFS Global.
  • Avoid unauthorized agents — only use official embassy services and the VFS Global service.
  • Honorary Consulates cannot process visas — their role is only to give best advise regarding visas.
  • For long-term visas, residence permits, or legalization of documents, applicants must directly contact the Slovenian Embassy in Tehran.
